What To Expect

🕖 7:30AM – Pickup From Hotel
Your private driver and English-speaking guide will meet you at your hotel lobby for a comfortable ride out of the city toward the countryside.
🕘 9:30AM – Arrive at First Onsen (Traditional)
Step into a historic, open-air onsen nestled in the mountains, where natural mineral waters have soothed travelers for centuries.
🕙 10:00AM – Relaxation Time
Enjoy a leisurely soak surrounded by nature. Let the hot spring’s healing minerals rejuvenate your body and mind.
🕦 11:30AM – Transfer to Second Onsen (Modern)
After your first bath, a short scenic drive will take you to a second onsen featuring more modern facilities and private options.
🕛 12:00PM – Lunch (Bento)
Savor a freshly prepared traditional Japanese bento lunch, crafted with local, seasonal ingredients.
🕐 1:00PM – Optional Tea House Visit
Visit a traditional tea house nearby, where you can enjoy matcha and sweets in a serene setting (optional but highly recommended).
🕑 2:00PM – Depart
After a day of relaxation, your private vehicle will begin the journey back to Tokyo, allowing you to unwind in comfort.
🕓 4:00PM – Drop Off At Hotel
Arrive back at your hotel feeling refreshed, relaxed, and fully immersed in Japan’s timeless onsen culture.

What should I bring?
Yes! All transport outside of train fare during the tour is covered, including scenic campervan rides through the city and countryside.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing for travel.
At the onsen, you’ll change into a provided yukata and follow traditional bathing customs.
Are tattoos allowed?
Some onsens are strict about tattoos, but don’t worry—
we carefully select locations that either allow tattoos or offer private bathing options.
Where is pickup and drop-off?
Hotel pickup and drop-off in central Tokyo is included.
If you’re staying outside central Tokyo, pickup may still be possible for a small additional fee—please contact us for details.
Is the tour private?
Yes!
This is a fully private experience for you and your group, with a personal guide and vehicle.
What is the minimum age to participate?
Participants must be at least 12 years old.
(Please note: many onsens do not allow young children or babies in the bathing areas.)
Can friends or family come along but not bathe?
Yes!
Even if someone chooses not to enter the baths, they can relax in the facilities, enjoy the scenery, and join for lunch and sightseeing.
Is lunch included?
Yes!
A traditional Japanese bento lunch is included in your tour package.
Vegetarian or other dietary needs can be accommodated with advance notice.
What if I feel shy about bathing?
No problem!
Onsens have a relaxing, peaceful atmosphere, and our guide will explain everything to help you feel comfortable.
Private bathing options may also be available if you prefer.
